How to add list in vicidial

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Create a New List

• Log in to your Vicidial admin panel.
• Click on the LISTS link at the top of the page.
• Click on the ADD A NEW LIST link.
• Fill in the required fields in the creation form:
  • List ID: A unique numerical ID for your list (e.g., 1001 or 2001).
  • List Name: A descriptive name for the list.
  • Campaign: Select the campaign you want to associate this list with. Each list can only be assigned to one campaign at a time.
  • Active: Set to Y (Yes) to make the list active.
• Click Submit to create the empty list. 

2. Load Leads into the List

• After creating the list, you will be taken to the list modification screen. Click on the LOAD NEW LEADS link within the LISTS section.
• On the lead loader page:
  • Load leads from this file: Select your prepared lead file (e.g., a .csv or .txt file).
  • List ID Override: Enter the List ID you created in the previous step.
  • Phone Code Override: Enter the default phone code (e.g., 1 for USA) if it’s not included in your file.
  • File layout to use: Select Custom layout to map your file’s columns, or select Standard if your file follows the specific default Vicidial format.
  • Lead Duplicate Check: Choose your preference (e.g., NO DUPLICATE CHECK or check against the current list/all lists).
• Click Submit to start the upload process.
• The system will process the file and provide a summary of good and bad leads. The leads will now be in your list, ready to be dialed by the associated campaign.
